right now, it looks like i won't be going anyplace soon, as my passport still hasn't arrived. that's another whole story mom might tell later. when it's been resolved.....
however, while dad was on the phone to australia i made the most of the opportunity to roll over and see how the world looked the other way up. it was pretty exciting - until i realised i was stuck

specialist help

mom and i went to see Joel's old friend dr verity livingstone yesterday, at the vancouver breastfeeding clinic. i've not put on any weight this month, so we needed some help. hopefully she'll be able to help us on the eating front, but in the meantime she prescribed some antibiotic ointment for my itchy head. it's working amazingly well - after just one night i'm looking a whole lot better. maybe dad will start taking photos of me again soon

singing

it's taken a while, but i've found my voice. singing's great. mom and dad don't seem to appreciate it as much as i expected though. first of all mom said "shhh", then dad came in and said "shush, oliver". after another hour dad finally got a bit cross and said "oliver - will you just SHUT UP". perhaps 3am wasn't the best time to start?
